Russell Crowe in talks for Tom Hooper's L'ensemble des Misrables

Based on the Hollywood Reporter, Russell Crowe and Helena Bonham Carter are going to join Hugh Jackman in L'ensemble des Misérables. The 2 stars are stated to become discussions to become listed on the project, which adjusts Victor Hugo's novel through the famous musical by Claude-Muchel Schönberg.Crowe's up for that role of policeman Javert, who doggedly chases Jackman's Jean '24601' Valjean through the French Revolution-set story.Russ isn't any stranger to banging out a tune together with his band 30 Odd Feet Of Grunts.Bonham Carter expires for that role of Mme Thénardier, half from the story's villainous coupling of scummy innkeepers. After her grottily melodic submit Sweeney Todd, this seems like welcome casting to us.She won a Bafta on her role as Full Elizabeth within the King's Speech, therefore it is not surprising that they and Hooper want to collaborate again.Tom Hooper appears to become cashing in on his publish-King's Speech warmth gain very much of the cast with this L'ensemble des Mis, by the looks from it, he may be setting his sights on Oscar glory again.
